Anyone who is aware of me well is aware of that there is no area I would rather be at the end of a long day than out in my backyard enjoying a cup of tea. In the cool autumn and spring months, I favor a cup of hot peppermint tea in my backyard, and in the heat of summertime I apt for a cup of iced lemon tea.
There is something magical about getting in my backyard that I just can not get enough of. I have studied more books, journaled more pages, and shared more wonderful conversations with my family in our backyard than almost anyplace else. The environment of my backyard was just lately made even more magical when we strung backyard lighting up one summer.
I don’t know why I hadn’t thought of hanging backyard lighting earlier, but I was absolutely open to the concept when my artistically driven teenage daughter suggested it as we sat on our back porch a single night with tea cups. She imagined that backyard lighting might do wonders for the mood of the backyard and that it might make us want to commit even more time there.
Before I knew it we had sat our tea cups down and headed to a nearby gardening store to see what kinds of backyard lighting we could discover. We had been amazed when we took time to search through the store at how many lighting choices we had. We choose a number of strings of tiny Chinese laterns that we in vibrant teal and olive colors. We each loved them and knew that they would be the excellent backyard lighting for our wants.
We rushed home and made a decision not to wait till morning to put the backyard lighting up. Instead, we went instantly to our backyard and started stringing the lights from tree to tree to tree. Soon after checking to see that all of the bulbs worked, we made a decision not to let ourselves turn the backyard lighting on till we had it all up and hanging.
I am so glad we waited simply because when we last but not least turned on our new backyard lighting it was remarkable. The small and colorful Chinese laterns did a good deal for the search and come to feel of our backyard. The backyard lighting only made it more inviting than it was just before.
We gathered the rest of our household and brought them outdoors to see what we had done. They appreciated the backyard lighting as considerably as we did and within minutes we had been producing popcorn and had plans to enjoy the backyard collectively that evening. I enjoy the way my backyard lighting looks, but even more than that I enjoy the way our backyard has turn out to be a gathering area for the folks I enjoy most.
